Chime of Wellness operates under the umbrella of Sanatan Merchants Pvt. Ltd. (SMPL), established in Kolkata in 1995. SMPL brings three decades of experience in international trade, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance. This institutional backing allows Chime of Wellness to manage large export orders, coordinate third-party quality testing, and navigate documentation requirements for markets including the EU (EC 834/2007), the US (NOP), and Japan (JAS).
How We Work
We operate on a demand-led sourcing model: buyers tell us what they need specification, grade, certifications, MOQ and we identify and qualify the supply chain partners best positioned to deliver. We coordinate pre-shipment quality verification, certificate of analysis (CoA) documentation, and phytosanitary compliance. We work with APEDA-registered exporters and supply chain partners certified under NPOP, EU Organic, Fairtrade International, and India Organic.
What We Do
Chime of Wellness is an India-based exporter of certified herbs, spices, herbal teas, and botanical ingredients, supplying manufacturers, formulators, and ingredient buyers in the USA, Europe, the Gulf, Japan, and Australia. We source from verified growing regions across India including Uttarakhand, Kerala, Rajasthan, and the Northeast and from our long-established networks in Nepal.
When We Started
Chime of Wellness was established as a dedicated export entity, drawing on the trading foundations that SMPL has built since 1995. Under the leadership of
Mr. Binod Maroti, SMPL has operated across imports, distribution, and international trade for nearly three decades — and it is this institutional backing that enables Chime to coordinate large export orders, manage compliance documentation, and source reliably across India and Nepal.
Where We Work
Our sourcing reach in Nepal spans over 50 years of operations across manufacturing, trading, and agricultural partnerships. This gives us direct access to Himalayan herbs and teas including high-altitude tulsi, Himalayan nettle, and orthodox teas from the Ilam region that are difficult to source through conventional channels. This heritage is the foundation of the Nepaya brand and of our broader botanical supply.
